The purpose of this guideline is to inform PSMB employers and apprentices on the procedure and implementation mechanism of the SLDN Aprrenticeship Scheme.

Objective :

2.1 This scheme aims to increase the supply of skilled workers to industries registered with PSMB. The objectives of the SDLN- Apprenticeship scheme are :

• i.   To train scchool leavers with specific skills that will enable them to work with PSMB employers upon completion of training; and
• ii.  To increase the supply of skilled workers through a strategic collaboration with industries registered with PSMB.

Target Group

The target group for this scheme is as follows:

• i. Apprentices selected from PMR/PT3; or
• ii. SPM leavers; or
• iii. Droupout students
